I’m sure you would all agree that was an exciting finale to the Masters and a well overdue win for Sergio. It was great to see him hold his nerve and put on an impressive display in the most difficult of circumstances, some amazing golf and great sportsmanship was on show.

Ladies Greensome Open

A gorgeous day on Sunday saw the first Open of the year for Aberdour GC, 168 competitors took part in the Ladies Greensome Open. A busy day was had by all, well done to Sheila and her team for making sure the Open ran smoothly. Great to hear positive feedback about the course, well done to Mark and the boys for all their hard work during the week preparing the course for the event.

Fitgolf

This week was week 3 of the Junior Fitgolf and even though it was the Easter holidays the turnout was excellent. This week Mark and myself put together a 5-hole Junior course on the practice area this was a fantastic way for the kids to put in to practice the shots they’ve learnt and to get them used to marking a card. The course was made up of 5 short par 5’s so there were birdie and eagles galore. 

Well done to Oliver who posted an impressive 4 under par and is the current course record holder. This week’s player of the week went to Jack, Jack and Alexander pictured below.
